The Parlor Bed and Breakfast
History:
The Parlor was built in 1908 by Charles J Tual as a
present fpr his bride. In 1960 the home was bought
by the Howell family, and used for a short time as a
funeral home. It actually only had about four people
that were ever laid out there, but one of the was the
great-grandfather of one of the owners W. L. Cofer.
The house is currently ran as a bed and breakfast by
the owners Dana & Moody Campbell, Robert Halket,
and Jeannette Schrum.
Reports:
Sightings of a woman moving from either dinning room and kitchen.
Also reports of a young boy seen looking through the dinning room
window, and also at the foot of beds. Clocks seem to be unable to
keep time, and chime a odd times. One very old clock which was
owned prior to the B&B, began to have problems soon after being
moved into the home. The doorbell will ring with nobody there, one
time even ringing while was disconnected. Motion-activated holiday
decorations, would be activated with no one in the area.

Origin of unidentified noise
Results:
Upon arrival we walked to the front door,
and rang the doorbell. Sounds of movement
could be heard, but no one answered the door.
A few minutes later we were greeted by the owners
daughter who told us the owners would be back in
a few, everyone was at the local parade. One
member heard a woman say his name while no
one was near enough to him. A moving EMF
field was recorded in the dinning room with no
apparent source. Also an odd “tink” noise like
glass or metal on glass, no source could be found
although it was tracked to one of the rooms.
Many attempts were made, but with no success.
Unfortunately no photos, video, or EVP found.
