About MPI

 

Midwest Paranormal Investigations was started in 2005 by Adam Honerkamp out of St. Charles Missouri. The group began after years of unorganized, and thrill-seeking “investigating” of cemeteries after dark, abandoned buildings, and urban legends. After meeting a few other people who shared the same interests we decided it was time to grow up, get focused, and form a group dedicated to the scientific research of paranormal activity.

 

Everything went well for a couple years, but with members moving out of the area, changes with work, marriages, and children membership began to dwindle. A decision was made to extend the MPI name to more than just one area by adding family groups across the state. We in the MPI family believe that by working together we can accomplish so much more than any of us can by ourselves. As mentioned before we are only interested in scientific methods of research, and do not employ the use of any psychics, occult, or alternative methods during any of our investigations.
